Anglers!
You all grinded hard today and many anglers put themselves right back in the hunt for cashing a check and getting into the AOY prize hunt! We hope that you all are able to stay and fish and enjoy the awards, pizza dinner, and wrap up of this event and season tomorrow back at the HQ.
We will try to have Pizza there by 5 and will go live as soon as results for the event and AOY are tallied, and all anglers are there. Bring your own beverage if you want anything in addition to water.
Please continue to be aware of conditions and how that may impact your photos. Dry lenses make better pictures! Make sure your 3 Digit ID is updated for Day 3 and very clear in all pictures. LF1 must be in the picture. LF1.
All logistics are the same for tomorrow and published.
Remember what you are representing. Remember that no matter how your event has gone, you still have a chance to catch a PB, and win the Big bass of the day for cash and prizes. Remember that there are 100″+ limits swimming nearby! Most importantly remember to have fun!
It has been an absolute privilege to get to be your TD for 6 seasons of the BOS! Steve, I, and everyone that has been part of this ride greatly appreciates your support. While next season isn’t as certain now as its been at this point in years past, it doesn’t take away from what this was, what it is and what it could be in the future.
Thank you all again! Have fun, be safe, and tight lines!!!
Thanks,
Hobie Cat Company II LLC,
Tournament Director

Hello Anglers!
We had pretty awesome weather for Day 1 of the TOC and many of you all took advantage of it. Please be weather aware tomorrow on the water as a front that could bring heavy rain, some wind and potential storms moves into the area.
For some of you this is your first 3-day event. I know its easy to look at the leaderboard and feel behind, but with 2 more full days, anything can happen, especially on a lake where getting 100″ or more is a real possibility. Remember there is a lot at stake for AOY and many anglers that could finish in-front of you might not be in the hunt, and as things sit there could be big shakeups in the final standings.
There is also $500 and a Lowrance unit prize each day for big bass! Congrats to Phillip Wyatt for his 23.50″ in a day full of BIG bass!
Pictures and submissions were great today. Please keep your cameras dry and your IDs clearly visible as you deal with the conditions. You will write C3C on your Day 2 ID for your pictures to be eligible. I have to see C3C!
Reminder we encourage everyone to come back on Friday night and get your 2024 TOC Cup from Engel Coolers! We also will have Pizza and a good time celebrating the top anglers and this season as a whole.
All times and logistics remain the same for tomorrow! Safety and sportsmanship first! Thank you all again for everything and we can’t wait to see how you overcome conditions on Day 2!!!
Thanks,

TOC Anglers-
Sorry for the late note! It was my long travel day in.
Tuesday is the last day of practice for the TOC. Anglers must be off the water completely by 4pm.
We will start checking boards and passing out IDs for all 3 days at 6pm. We will also be serving dinner starting at 6. Get your board checked, IDs, and a plate and enjoy yourself! We will have some recognition and a meeting shortly after dinner.
Event Headquarters- Weldon Gymnasium: 7 Maple St Manning SC 29102 – You will enter through the side doors.
Family/ travel partners are more than welcome to attend!
A few final day notes-
– I have added a public pay launch at Marker 79 Marina to the map.
– Carolina King has acknowledged they will allow our anglers to launch before they open at 7. They have also said a paid pass displayed from the week will suffice for any and all days that facility is used.
– Off limits areas- Anglers need to be aware and responsible of the areas they are fishing and their legality. The resources for what is off limits and when are the same for all of us. If you are not sure about your area, please check on it through published and on-water markings. The verbiage of each area is key.
There are areas that are off limits to hunting, land access and to be in during certain hunting seasons. Many of those still accommodate angling and on water access. Simply if you area allowed to be in and fish in an area, you can fish there within this event.
If an area specifically says and is marked No fishing during a time period that we are in, you can’t fish in that area.
Angler responsibility and accountability is always very important. Please understand these restrictions are not mine, nor do I immediately have every answer on them, but if you have a question that you can not find the answer to, let me know!
Good Luck and we can’t wait to see you all tomorrow!
Thanks,

TOC Anglers,
Hope travels and prefishing are going well! Appreciate those of you that have been posting and sharing things so far!
We will be traveling hard to get there tomorrow!
A couple notes concerning Off Limits areas:
– I want to apologize for it not being more clear, but the event waters are Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie accessible through the published public launches. We will not be allowing locking in this event. I’m sorry for any inconvenience.
– This series has a rule that you cannot fish in any areas marked off limits/ no fishing, etc.. With that, there are seasonal restrictions to some specific areas that are to be honored. It is my understanding these are marked on the water and at some ramps. They are also published online and there is an active thread on the BOS page with graphics and more info.
The following PDF shows and lists the specific areas that are off limits clearly as well.

Thanks all! Appreciate the communication!
