In the very first Hobie BOS – Bass Open Series Anchored by Power-Pole Total Boat Control College Tour our anglers battled changing and tough spring conditions on Watts Bar Lake, Spring City TN.
The Carson-Newman University Fishing Team was able to come out on top over Cambellsville University Fishing Team with their team’s best 5 caught and released bass totaling 87.75″. Cambellsville University battled hard with a strong 82.75″.
Carson- Newman University and Hobie Fishing Angler Jaxton Orr swept the individual AFTCO Angler Awards leading the entire event with 84″ on 5 Bass. Including the Daiwa Big Bass with an 18.25″ bass. We look forward to seeing another group of College kayak anglers at our next stop on Lake Chatuge, Hiawassee GA on May 21st!
