The Tournament of Champions 2021 -Lake Eufaula, Eufaula Alabama

The ultimate crown in competitive kayak fishing lands on the Chattahoochee River Fishery on the border of Alabama and Georgia at a well-known fishery called Lake Eufaula or Walter F George Reservoir. $75,000 will be guaranteed to be paid out to the top 10 after this 3- day competition and a 1st place prize of $35,000!

The ‘TOC’ brings together the 50 best kayak anglers in the BOS Series that includes the 2020 Grand Champion Ryan Lambert, The top 3 non-qualified at each open event for the 2021 season and the top 19 non-qualified in the FarWide Angler of The year Race.

The TOC will be a 3 day competition where anglers will Catch, Photo, Release and Submit their best 5 fish each day to TourneyX, our host Tournament Management system.

The TOC will be the Final event of the season to decide the Farwide Angler of the Year race.  The event is worth 100 points with a 2 point decrement for each place.

The TOC Winner and Top 3 in the Farwide AOY Race will earn spots on the US team for the Hobie Fishing Worlds.

Headquarters:  All official events will be taking place at Lakepoint State Park: 104 Old Hwy 165 Eufaula, AL 36027.

We encourage all of our anglers to enjoy lodging as availability permits at the Lakepoint State Park and the town of Eufaula as our host.

Schedule:

Oct 1st. Lake Eufaula is off-limits to all anglers. This includes accessing the water, communication with guides or ANYONE providing private information on the lake. Fishing off docks, banks, or in any way in eligible waters is not allowed.  Anglers can scout ramps or the water from the bank/ roads during this time.

Nov 6th @ 6am Begins the official practice period. During this practice period anglers are only allowed to be on the water in a tournament legal vessel. Motors are allowed during practice.  Hiring or communicating with a guide is not allowed. Soliciting publicly available information from other local sources like bait shops and dock/ water talk IS allowed during this practice week.

Nov 11th

Practice ends at 4pm- Angler must be completely off the water by 4cst

5-6pm CST Board check and registration process at event HQ

6pm- Opening banquet and dinner provided

6pm- Soliciting information from anyone except competitors is now off limits.

Boundaries- Anglers will have access to all of Lake Eufaula via public access and ramps. The following will be considered Launch Boundaries.  Anglers are not allowed to launch or land past these access spots on their respective tributaries.

Cowikee Creek (All Forks) The Launch boundary for this tributary will be the ramp at Lakepoint State Park.

Chattahoochee River and Hatchechubbee Creek: The launch Boundary will be the Hatchechubbee Creek Park ramp and access area.

Pataula Creek: The launch boundary is 39/Eufaula Hwy.

The southern Physical boundary will be the Walter F George Lock and Dam.

License Info:

This lake has a reciprocal agreement that an Alabama or Georgia License will be accepted.
