We have just concluded the Official Tournament Meeting on the Hobie BOS Group Page.  It is everyone’s responsibility to know what was covered in that Live meeting.

– 13T must be written on an ID card, Paper, etc. for your fish pictures to count. I have to see 13T for your fish to count.

–  All event details and rules are published for you to review and apply during tomorrow’s competition.   You can see that on the Hobiebos event page as well as the TourneyX page.

– We will be keeping the leaderboard live until 230pm.  If you are sandbagging for any reason, please start to submit then.

– Submit EARLY and OFTEN, so we can give you feedback about your catches to make sure there are not applying the same issues throughout the day.  Don’t learn all of your pictures are DQ at the end of the day, if you don’t have to.

– All anglers are invited back to the event HQ around 5 for the awards for both QCKBF and Hobie BOS.  We will message the top 15 anglers at the end of the day and after all fish have been judged to give them an opportunity on the stage.  Stop and get you a bite to eat at one of the local establishments and bring it in!

– Hobie will require a tax form and ACH payment form from all paid anglers to process payments for any angler.  Steve will send out those forms to all anglers that are not able to fill it out in person.  We need all anglers to prioritize this process to expedite things on our end to get everyone paid.  ACH payments are mandatory, we will not be sending checks.  This process can take around 2 weeks.

Incase anyone missed out on the announcement tonight, Day 1 (Saturday) has been cancelled due to the weather forecast and us having to prioritize angler safety and overall experience.  While we don’t make this decision lightly, we hope that everyone understands why.  In addition, we truly hope that the weather is not as bad as they are predicting.

All eligible and connected bodies of water will be considered Off- Limits until first launch on Sunday.  Practice for this event is over.  Anyone caught on the water will be Disqualified.

There is no longer solicitation of info allowed.

Anglers are still allowed to talk fishing and things with their friends until we get into event hours on Sunday.

We are planning to fish Sunday, and this will be a 1 day, 5 fish event with over $39,000 available in winnings and an $8,900 1st place prize.  We will announce all event details via a Facebook Live meeting that will be broadcast at 730 PM EST.  During this meeting we will go over all the details you need to know for the event and announce the 3-digit code that must be on your ID for any of Sunday’s fish to count.

All rules and updated event details are published in both TourneyX and at Hobiebos.com

Thank you for understanding and we look forward to seeing how this change will playout on Sunday.
