LAMBERT TAKES THE LUNCH MONEY at WATTS BAR LAKE

The 2nd stop of the Hobie BOS – Bass Open Series Anchored by Power-Pole Total Boat Control has come to an end at Watts Bar Lake.

Brutally cold Temperatures presented the toughest conditions our anglers have ever faced. Reigning Grand Champion, Ryan Lambert (TN) was able to overcome the challenge and beat out 93 other anglers over two days for the victory, recording the best of only three other 10 fish limits with 151″. This win earned Ryan $5250 and a 2-0 record in Knoxville, TN.

In 2nd place with the largest limit of day 2 was Carson- Newman University angler Ewing Minor (VA). Following a 12th place finish at Lake Seminole, Ewing came up an inch shy of securing victory in his 2nd ever BOS event. However he still landed 149.25″ over 2 days, secured a spot in the Tournament of Champions at Lake Eufaula and cashed a $3000 check.

The only other 10 fish limit was landed by series vet and former National Champion Kurt Smits(OH). 141.75″ was good enough for a $2000 check, a TOC qualification, and valuable points towards the chase for the BOS Angler of the Year presented by Farwide, The Outdoor Access App.
